What is the definition of Healthy Life and Well Being?


The WHO constitution states: "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." An important implication of this definition is that mental health is more than just the absence of mental disorders or disabilities.

 

Well-being is a feeling of satisfaction with life, a state characterized by health, happiness, and prosperity. Good health concerns the care of the human body and everything that can be done to protect it from sickness and intoxication and enable access to care.

-Keeps skin, teeth, and eyes healthy

How to achieve?


To live a healthy lifestyle, limit your consumption of fat, sugar, and processed foods and base your diet around fresh vegetables, fruit, lean proteins, and whole grains instead. Try to hit the gym 3-5 times per week or take a vigorous 30-minute walk around your neighborhood to get your heart rate up.


What is mental health?


Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.
